Photographic and written documentation of the object is generated before, during and after conservation treatment.
A copy of this documentation is provided to the client in detailed reports which should be kept with the object as a record of the information revealed through examination, as well as any alterations the object may have undergone during treatment.
These documents are especially important should your object ever require further conservation treatment.
